
Easy Tantanmen Ramen
We’ve already looked at how to make a vegan ramen and today we’re looking at a different type of ramen. This type of ramen is called “tantanmen” and uses mince. That’s right, mince! While this recipe doesn’t use an egg, it’s possible to add one if you wish along with any other ingredients you feel would make the dish even greater. Even though this recipe seems very basic, it’s absolutely delicious and don’t require anything too expensive or complicated.
Ingredients
100g mince (vegetarian or meat)
1 pack of ramen noodles (egg noodles also works)
1 vegetable stock cube
100g sweetcorn
Two pinches of Chinese 5 Spice powder
Two pinches of chilli flakes
Optional
5g chilli oil / chilli snow
Soy sauce
One or two slices of pork / vegetarian meat
100g Spinach
Hot chilli powder
Step by Step
Step 1
Start cooking the mince according to the instructions
Step 2
Boil a saucepan full of water and put in the stock cube then let it cook
Step 3
Season the mince with the Chinese 5 Spice powder and chilli flakes. Add more according to your preferred taste.
Step 4
Add the ramen noodles to the saucepan with the stock cube and let it cook for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Plate the noodles and stock cube sauce into a bowl. Add the mince to the bowl and also the sweetcorn.
Step 6
Add any additional extra’s to the dish
Step 7
Eat!
