We’ve already looked at how to make a vegan ramen and today we’re looking at a different type of ramen. This type of ramen is called “tantanmen” and uses mince. That’s right, mince! While this recipe doesn’t use an egg, it’s possible to add one if you wish along with any other ingredients you feel would make the dish even greater. Even though this recipe seems very basic, it’s absolutely delicious and don’t require anything too expensive or complicated.
100g mince (vegetarian or meat)
1 pack of ramen noodles (egg noodles also works)
1 vegetable stock cube
Two pinches of Chinese 5 Spice powder
Two pinches of chilli flakes
5g chilli oil / chilli snow
One or two slices of pork / vegetarian meat
Hot chilli powder
