The remastered trilogy of the .Hack//G.U. series has officially been announced, bringing long-time fans and newcomers to the series all of the action/RPG epicness, wrapped in one neat, addictive package titled, .Hack//G.U. Last Recode.
The trilogy of the G.U. series is coming at a time when diehard fans of the franchise are craving more .Hack action from developers Bandai Namco. From start to finish, all three volumes are fully remastered in 1080p, 60 fps at a 16:9 widescreen picture. In the coming months more features and balancing updates will be revealed for the popular trilogy as well, keeping their lips tightly sealed for now.
The first volume in the series being Rebirth, the second is Reminisce followed by the final volume, Redemption makes up this classic, exciting trilogy. All three entries take the player on a long action story starring the Adept Rogue Haseo, fighting their way to the villain Tri-Edge. Avenging his friend, Shino, who’s been put into a coma outside of the in-universe MMORPG known as, The World, after Tri-Edge killed his in-game avatar. Battling through an infected computerized world by an anomaly known as AIDA, the player will rely on powerful skills and characters met throughout the game to overcome the odds and avenge his friend.
Along with the heroic trilogy being enhanced with new graphics and gameplay come a few changes to help balance battles and as well as an all new Cheat Mode, which gives players full stats at the start of the game to aid in enjoying the story relatively carefree.
The fans yelled, screamed and begged for more, and for now, that’s exactly what they get. Re-live the classic trilogy first released on the Playstation 2 system, now with beautiful enhanced graphics and gameplay. Look for .Hack//G.U. Last Recode to release on the Playstation 4 and PC late 2017.
