Huge DC comics sale in celebration of Injustice 2 launch
Comixology has announced that they’re holding a large DC comics sale in honor of the Injustice 2 video game launch. The sale includes a range of comics including the Injustice series, Batman and also Mortal Kombat. The massive sale will be ending on May 22nd which is on Monday.
The game this sale is celebrating is Injustice 2, a fighting game from NetherRealm studios with a detailed story mode which explores the world in a post-Superman regime. Naturally, there are some villains trying to take over the world and things become much more interesting when Braniac makes an appearance.
The new Injustice game was released on May 16th earlier this month.
To celebrate the launch, Comixology is having a huge sale where comics are up to 71% off. This is exclusively for digital comics and ebooks, however, so physical collectors shouldn’t get excited.
The bulk of the sale is focused around comics with video game adaptions or comics inspired by video games. For gamers who love comics, this is a great time to pick up some extra comics for your collections. This is also a good time to start reading comics if you’d been meaning to give them a try.
Here are the series on sale:
- Injustice Gods Among Us
- Batman Arkham tie-in series
- World of Warcraft
- Mortal Kombat
- Batman Arkham Knight Genesis
- Batman Arkham Asylum
- Arkham Reborn
So there’s quite a few Batman comics in this sale. However, the sale isn’t just Batman or Injustice comics and it contains a little bit more for comic fans to sink their teeth into. Sadly, there are no other comics in this sale so for those who aren’t fans of video games, there’s not much worth looking at.
For someone interested in this sale, you can find it on the official Comixology website here. We will provide you with updates relating to the latest comic news when we learn more.
