What we know about Call of Duty WWII

All, Business & Industry, Reviews & Opinions

The next upcoming Call of Duty game has finally been announced. The next game is coming from Sledgegammer Games who previously developed Advanced Warfare. Call of Duty: WWII will include a single player campaign, multiplayer and a co-op mode.

The upcoming game will be released this November on the 3rd for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

Reveal Trailer

The trailer reveals a few interesting things about the game. It confirms that it will feature an American soldier in the single player mode who is a farmer from Texas. The description reveals that the game is following the 1st Infantry Division as they fight against the evil which is threatening so many lives.

Co-op

Sledgehammer games has been quite evasive so far about the co-op mode. They did however release the above image which seems to confirm that the co-op mode will be the classic Call of Duty Zombie Mode. It seems as though fans will finally be getting “zombie Nazis” in a Call of Duty game.

Multiplayer

The developer hasn’t revealed much about the multiplayer which will be in the game. However, Gamespot notes a few new gameplay addition. The biggest new addition seems to be the “Headquarters” which is a place for players to socialize and will display rewards. In addition to this, there will be a new gamemode focused around iconic World War II battles.

A full reveal for the multiplayer section of the game will be coming later this year at E3 in June. The game will also be playable on the show floor which is accessible to the public for the first time.

More details on Call of Duty: WWII will be coming throughout the year. However, most news about the game will probably be released later this year during E3 2017. It’s currently uncertain which conference the game will be shown at.
