New ‘Dragon Ball FighterZ’ Trailer Shows Us More on the Story Mode

The latest tease from Arc System Works and Bandai Namco has fans drooling over the next Dragonball Z title. Dragon Ball FighterZ is set to launch this January, but there is still plenty to learn about the upcoming exciting release.

With a plethora of characters already announced, those of which covering a large amount from the DBZ saga, there’s still little we know about the direction of the story. After the release of the latest ‘Story Mode #1’ trailer, we now know a few more details about the game.

As you fight as the legendary Z warriors, the evil clones come to Earth and begin to wreak havoc. Android 16, along with the new character Android 21, rise as two of the main villains in the game’s story, but even that remains shrouded in mystery. All we do know, is that the Z warriors seem…tasty?

As for the gameplay, players will have the body and mind of the beloved hero, Goku, and complete tasks and battles with a variety of warriors featured in the game. Traverse the battle map and create stronger bonds with the mighty warriors. Find new skills or save your allied Z warriors, the choice is up to the player.

Dragon Ball FighterZ releases on January 26th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
