New Xbox Games with Gold are available
It’s the start of the month once again and there are brand new games available for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. As you already know, anyone with a subscription is able to download several free games every month. Microsoft announced these games towards the end of last month but they are now available for download.
Xbox One
Anyone on this platform will be able to get the following games this month:
- Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams – Director’s Cut
- Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
- The Walking Dead: Season Two
Both Giana Sisters and The Walking Dead are currently available for download. Giana Sisters will be available until the end of the month on the 31st while The Walking Dead: Season Two will be free until May 15th. The Lara Croft game on the other hand will be joining the program on May 16th and will be leaving on June 15th next month.
Xbox 360
Those with an Xbox 360 are in for a Star Wars themed month with two Star Wars games.
- Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II
- Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga
The Force Unleashed II will be leaving the program on the 15th then Lego Star Wars will be taking over for the remainder of the month. Xbox One owners are in for an additional treat this month as Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II is available in the Xbox Backwards Compatibility program. Meaning then that the game can be played on the Xbox One.
In addition to the free Games with Gold, there will be another round of exclusive discounts for Xbox Live Gold subscription holders. Microsoft hasn’t announced what these sales will be just yet but the announcement is expected to come later this week. We will provide you with updates as we learn more about these discounts.
